Designing product with Licensors is something I have been privileged to do quite a few times in my career so far.
Some of these brands include Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Florence Broadhurst, Tatty Teddy, Pacman and One Direction.
Each range was bespoke to the brand and branding guidelines (supplied by the licensor) were carefully followed. The sales team advised the target market and price indications.
for this scope of works;
created/manipulated artwork either existing (licensed) or new graphics to work for top of bed
ran artwork through online approval systems
sent art to mills with make style specifications
sent sampled designs for approval to licensor
The programs used for this work were Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
